Information security is defined as protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording or destruction. Paramarshak will develop and implement policies that ensure and protect the confidentiality, accuracy, integrity, consistency, accessibility, availability and usability of information processed and stored electronically. The polices will cover existing and upcoming delivery channels and mediums like mobile banking and electronic cash, periodic risk assessment, data classification and segregation, tiered security access, access and audit logs/trails retention, Internet access and email policy, company resource use policy and employee security awareness education. It will also address network architecture security, system hardening, virtual private networks, encryption, vendor vetting and access, new technology security audit, external and internal threat mitigation, data backup and remote site data storage including disaster recovery.
Internal and External audits of the implemented systems and policies are critical to ensure the effectiveness of implemented controls framework and adequacy of the adopted security plan and procedures to run successful business functions.
